Irene Luft presented the most sensual collection of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin spring/summer 2013. Her collection is called “Summer Melancholy”. Irene tried to implement this theme by using different contrasts. Lace of Plauen surrounded the female body and showed some skin. A cashmere cardigan combined with a silk pant looked feminine by the manufacturing of different fabrics. Powdery colors, nude tones, dark blue and black reflected the shades of a hot summers day while sheer fabric flowers were appliquéd and swang at each movement. Slowly walking models seemed to fuse with the hot and sticky air at the tent. A delicate and graceful walk like each of the models was soaking up the femininity of the looks. Madeira yarn underlined the melancholy of the collection. Metallic shining fabrics reflected the sunlight like a ray of light on water. Flowers on the shoulder highlighted dresses and tops. Irene´s way to create outstanding lace dresses are unique and shows her eye for female silhouettes.
