Escada Sport takes you to the British fashionable countryside - Berlin Fashion Week A/W 2012/13 - day 1

In this season the international famous label Escada Sport opened the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin A/W 2012/13. It was the first time for Escada to present at the tent and not offsite. This time head designer Madeleine Schäfer was inspired by the beauty of British winter landscapes. The use of heavy fabrics, floral patterns and the processing of natural material are trend-setting. Pieces in lambskin, fur and wool are perfect to overcome wet and cold days. Wonderful shivering fabrics capture your attention and build a fantastic contrast to dark color tones. I love especially the creation of new proportion by refined cuts and color combinations. Besides different shades of brown, pieces in pink, light blue and floral patterns are the eye catcher of the collection. My favorite pieces of the show are a fur poncho with XXL checked pattern, a short, black dress in crepe fabric and a breathtaking chemise dress.
