Autumn Color Blocking

Autumn time for me is always strange. To see all these different shades of green and brown is so different compared to summer and spring when flowers are blooming everywhere. Last week I have passed a field with winter oilseed rape. It was like a fresh breath of colorful air, while everything turns autumn-like around. So we took the camera and shot these outfit pictures. It was pretty funny, because on this day I already felt sad to see the summer leaving and decided to wear my green vintage Wood Stock collage jacket and my bright blue trouser. The combination with the yellow field is the best autumn color blocking outfit in my opinion.

Die Herbstzeit ist für mich immer wieder wunderlich mit all den verschiedenen Grün und Brauntönen. Eim kompletter Gegensatz verglichen mit dem Frühling/Sommer, wenn alle Blumen blühen und helle Farben die Natur dominieren. Letzte Woche sah ich durch Zufall ein Feld mit Winterraps. Es war wie eine farblich frische Brise, während ringsherum alles herbstlich aussah. So schnappten wir uns die Kamera und machten diese Outfitbilder. Ich musste über diesen Fund lächeln, weil ich an diesem Tag eine etwas getrübte Stimmung hatte und daher ein farbenfrohes Outfit bestehend aus einer hellblauen Hose und einer grünen Collagejacke wählte. Das Outfit kombiniert mit dem Rapsfeld ergab das perfekte Herbst Color Blocking Outfit.

Color vs Black/White - The Game of Light like the Contrast of Bright and Dark

Do you know these moments when you found a clean and not quite comfortable place? It is strange, but most of the time I feel satisfied in a surrounding like that on the same time. A feeling I can´t explain.  In this case it was a building that was refurbished. The windows were replaced by white plastics while a storm came on. The wind was blowing and the game of light was playing with my mind like the wind with a plastic bag. All in all I spend an hour there to collect my thoughts. On that day I was wearing denim from G-Star RAW tailor made for me, a grey shirt from H&M and a cardigan from Angelo Litrico paired with Adidas Neo sneaker and a watch from my most favorite jewelry brand Dyrberg/Kern. 

Kennt ihr den Moment einen sterilen und wenig komfortablen Platz gefunden zu haben? Es ist komisch, aber oft fühle ich mich in genau solch einer Umgebung zufrieden und geborgen. Ein Gefühl das sich kaum in Worte fassen lässt. In diesem Fall war es ein Gebäude das renoviert wurde. Die Fenster wurden durch Folie ersetzt während sich draußen ein Stur zusammen braute. Der Wind blies und der Wechsel von Licht und Schatten spielte mit meinen Gedanken wie der Wind mit einer Plastiktüte. An diesem Tag trug ich eine Jeans tailor made von G-Star RAW, ein graues Shirt von H&M und ein Cardigan von Angelo Litricio, kombiniert mit Sneakers von Adidas Neo und einer Uhr aus dem Haus Dyrberg/Kern.
