Von Bardonitz with a collection like a mystic fairytale - Fashion Week Berlin A/W 2012/13 - day 1

There is not always a clear line between fashion and art. So how shall I describe a collection like this? It turns out pretty hard, I think. It is something you have to see, feel and jump in to find out what´s behind. That’s exactly what you have to do when you have a look at the collection from Von Bardonitz. Stop frowning and see it on the basis of an art installation. For me the collection has something really mystical. Just like a trip into the Brother Grim fairytales. What I really loved was the use of different patterns like heavy woolen fabrics combined with transparent patterns or lace. It is this contrast that highlights each piece and turns it into something special. The main colour of the autumn/winter collection 2012/13 was black, which was only interrupted by the use of beige highlights. For me the collection was something very beautiful. It seems there is no clear line between male and female. Probably one of the reasons that made this collection so interesting. For all pictures press more.
